New Head of Group Risk Appointed
WH Ireland, the financial services group that provides corporate broking and private wealth management services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Baptiste as the Head of Group Risk, a newly created role based in its London office.
Jamie has over 20 years’ experience within the industry with strong product knowledge across all asset classes and experience across the front, middle and back office. He joins WH Ireland from his role as Head of Risk at Espirito Santo Investment Bank, having previously spent six years at BNY Mellon Corporation as a Senior Risk Manager in Asset Management; prior to that he held a variety of senior risk and operational roles at a number of leading financial institutions including Merrill Lynch, Nomura and UBS covering asset management and servicing, wealth management, investment banking / capital markets and private banking.
Jamie, who started at WH Ireland today, will report to Richard Killingbeck, Chief Executive of WH Ireland and will be responsible for managing and enhancing the Group’s risk management practices in both its divisions.
