Update on appointment of new CEO
Further to the announcement on 23 July 2010 the Board of WH Ireland are pleased to confirm that Paul Compton joined the Company as planned and commenced his employment on 6 September 2010.
The Company has applied to the FSA for the approval of Paul Compton’s appointment as a director and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of WH Ireland and is awaiting the outcome of this application. The Board will make a further announcement in due course.
Pending Paul Compton taking up his role as a director and CEO of WH Ireland Rupert Lowe, Chairman, and Nigel Gurney, Finance Director, are undertaking the CEO responsibilities at the Company.
