In a further move to refocus its wealth management business, WHIreland has announced the promotion of Roddy Buchanan to Head of the Wealth Management Division, reporting into CEO Richard Killingbeck and the appointment of Rupert Yeoward, reporting to Roddy Buchanan as Deputy Head of Wealth Management.
The appointment of Roddy and Rupert is part of a continuing programme of significant change in the senior leadership at WHIreland. Roddy, who was previously Deputy Head of Private Clients, takes over from Richard Killingbeck, who will focus on his role as CEO of the WHIreland Group plc.
Rupert, joining the company from a position as an independent wealth management consultant and having previously worked for Rathbone Investment Management and Deutsche Bank, will focus on WHIreland’s regional offering in the new role. He will be responsible for leading and developing the private wealth regional offices in Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Poole. Rupert’s role will focus on maximising the potential of the regional offices and he will work closely with other group divisions to enable WHIreland to achieve their strategic objectives.

The appointment of Roddy and Rupert comes during a period of ongoing change for WHIreland including a recent brand refresh and website relaunch, helping to create a new corporate identity for the company.
