Jeremy Arthur – Chartered Financial Planner & Head of Henley Office
Jeremy is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society with over 30 years’ experience as an Independent Financial Adviser. He is passionate about building client relationships and providing a proactive ongoing service. Jeremy has extensive experience of advising high net worth clients and trustees, encompassing financial planning, tax planning, investments, financial protection and estate planning. He works closely with his client’s legal and tax advisers to deliver cohesive and long term inter-generational planning.
Roland Jones – Chartered Wealth Manager
Roland has over 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry which he joined straight from university. He has been an independent financial adviser for over 30 years with a specialism in pensions and retirement planning. He strongly believes pensions should be seen in the context of holistic financial planning and not
in isolation. Roland has advised many leading professionals, business owners and individual investors on pensions and retirement planning and has been widely quoted in the national press on pensions issues.
Julian Valentine – Chartered Financial Planner
Julian has worked in financial services for over 32 years. Prior to joining the Henley team, he worked at Standard Life where he gained considerable experience in financial planning. Throughout his career Julian has helped financial services firms develop their client service propositions. In 2007 Julian became a Chartered Financial Planner and shortly afterwards became a Fellow of The Personal
Finance Society. Julian is a firm believer in helping clients manage their wealth by providing a quality and proactive service.
Stephen Johnston – Chartered Financial Planner
Steve has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry with more than 20 years working as an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). He initially worked with Lloyds Bank and Standard Life. In 1996 he joined his father’s IFA business, Keith Johnston & Partners Ltd, and over the years he helped build this into an extremely successful practice with a first-class reputation. In 2005, Steve gained Chartered Financial Planner status and he is a longstanding and committed advocate of raising professional standards throughout the industry. This was further evidenced when Keith Johnston & Partners Ltd was awarded Corporate Chartered Financial Planner status in 2012.
Orlaith Acton – Financial Planner
Orlaith embarked on a career change when she joined the Henley office in 2015. Since joining the team she has held a number of roles including Administration, Paraplanning and currently Financial Planning. Orlaith’s career encompasses extensive experience within Financial Services, IT and Property where she has worked at managerial level whilst gaining a wide set of skills from working with successful start-ups and SMEs. With an Honours Business Degree from John Moores University and broad international experience, Orlaith’s goal is to ensure her clients enjoy an engaging, informative and insightful experience on their financial journey.
Gerald Key – Financial Adviser
Gerald has over 30 years’ experience of working in the personal financial planning sector. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Harpsden, having held various roles including management, advisory and compliance functions within both small and large businesses. Gerald has a firm belief that financial planning should be delivered with honesty and integrity and that first
and foremost it is about helping individuals achieve their objectives. To do this he focuses on understanding his client’s needs, building long-term relationships enabling him to identify and help them achieve their short, medium and long-term financial objectives.
