New Head of Manchester Wealth Management Business Appointed

WH Ireland, the financial services group that provides corporate broking and private wealth management services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Race as Head of Wealth Management in its Manchester office. 

Robert is well-respected in the industry with over 30 years’ experience.  He built his career at Brewin Dolphin, and its predecessor businesses Charlton Seal Dimmock & Co and Wise Speke. Having initially started in investment research, before moving to corporate finance, Robert switched to investment management, becoming Head of Brewin Dolphin’s Manchester Office for 13 years whilst running a large client bank.

He is Chairman of the London Stock Exchange’s North West Regional Advisory Group and Wood Street Mission, the charity which aims to alleviate the effects of poverty on women and children in Manchester and Salford.  Robert is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute for Securities & Investment and a Chartered Wealth Manager.

Robert will lead the existing team in Manchester and will focus on further developing the company’s private wealth management business in the North West.
