WHIreland is pleased to announce that it has appointed Stephen Ford as the head of its Wealth Management division. Stephen will join WHIreland during February 2019, and his exact start date will be notified in due course.
Stephen is an experienced executive director and leader in the wealth and investment management sector with a proven track record of implementing strategic change and generating shareholder value. Between 2000 and 2016 he worked at Brewin Dolphin, firstly as Head of the London Office, and was later made Transformation Director, where he led the design and delivery of the business transformation programme. In 2013, Stephen was appointed as Head of Wealth & Investment Management at Brewin Dolphin, and became an executive board member of Brewin Dolphin Holdings plc, with responsibility for the group’s income, growth, advice standards and customer outcomes.
Since 2016, Stephen has been an Executive Director of City Asset Management, the provider of investment services to private clients and families, where he has reviewed and reinforced the investment process, reshaped the sales and distribution strategy which has resulted in significant AUM growth over the past 2 years.
