WH Ireland is delighted to have achieved corporate Chartered Financial Planning status from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). This follows the shortlisting for “Financial Adviser Team of the Year” at the STEP Private Client Awards for 2021/22, and scoring first for Financial Planning in the Aon client satisfaction multi-firm benchmark survey for 2020.
Chartered status is only awarded to firms who have made a public commitment to align themselves with the ethics and values of the CII. These commitments include putting clients’ interests first, investing in ongoing development of their people’s technical skills and knowledge, plus supporting wider initiatives that benefit society as well as the growth of the profession.
What does this mean for me? This means you can depend on the firm’s professionalism, expressed through a commitment to ethical practice and the provision of competent and knowledgeable advice based around your needs and requirements. At the heart of the CII charter is a code of conduct that places the client’s interests first.
Stephen Ford, Executive Director and Head of Wealth Management at WH Ireland, said: “To have achieved Chartered status is a testament to our Independent Financial Planners, who are committed to providing the highest professional standards of advice at all times. I am proud that we have met Chartered standard, and as a firm, we look forward to wearing the Chartered badge with pride.” Sian Fisher, Chief Executive of the Chartered Insurance Institute, said: “By achieving Chartered status WH Ireland has publicly committed to a customer-first approach. We commend WH Ireland for showing commitment to the Chartered ethos.“
